Is The Vanishing Prairie Becoming Our Vanishing Planet?
I grew up seeing Vanishing Prairie on Disney Presents I was impressed and enjoyed this movie immensely. This was during the time before CD's, DVD's, VHS's, Streaming, mp3's and other forms of personal entertainment devices you had to use a TV guide to keep track of these TV programs. Vanishing Prairie is impressive because it combines a nature adventure with classical music and uses the animals of the Western American Prairie as the actors/actresses to tell their stories. I remember even then the sadness I felt because these beautiful animals were being lost. It is good to see this film again. Update: I couldn't resist not having this movies so I purchased it, it mine now.
