Over 21 [HD]

Not-so-bad Irene Dunne film. . . BUT BE AWARE THIS IS A DVD-R DISC!
Based on a hit Broadway play by Ruth Gordon, Irene Dunne and Alexander Knox are married writers who experience a whole new way of life when husband Knox joins the Army. O.K. comedic results as Knox tries to match the agility and stamina of men half his age. Not a huge classic, but good enough for a rainy day -- and a definite plus for us Irene Dunne fans.

Though not currently noted in the DVD product information, this disc is DVD-R with no menu options. Source material is okay, nothing spectacular.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie
This is one of my favorite movies... I just happen to come across it one night and fell in love with it.... I have been looking for this movie to purchase... I love Irene Dunne she is one of my favorite actresses.

Dunne to perfection!
She can't cook, but she can give her all for husband and country. An interesting look at liberal American values during WWII with a nifty cast. Charles Coburn is great as the obnoxious, but loveable publisher, Alexander Knox is so believable as the four-eyed editor who has to man-up for Officer's Training School, and Dunne is very glam as the sophisticated lady writer wife who supports him through the ordeal in order to propagate the couple's values and "win the peace." Funny, sincere and charming, this is a must for classic film fans.
